Having dogs ourselves, we understand only too well that they are a big part of the family .

We are therefore very happy for well behaved and currently innoculated dogs to accompany their family on holiday at Lag Kilmichael.

We have large dog-friendly gardens to explore...

Welcome to Lag Kilmichael Luxury Self Catering Cottages

Reached by crossing a Bailey bridge over Carradale Water; Lag Kilmichael is a 4 acre steading situated in the centre of Carradale Glen, just north of the small fishing village of Carradale on the Kintyre peninsula. We are encircled by hills, some rising to over 1,100 feet (330m) and the surrounding area is exclusively farmland and forest so quiet seclusion is very much the order of the day. This large bungalow served as the farmhouse here throughout the 1950's and 60's. It now provides a comfortable place to stay for larger groups and those looking for generously spacious accommodation.

Lavender Cottage

This converted stone byre has an open-plan living space with kitchen-diner to one end. A king-size bed and bathroom occupy the other end. An impressive stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove forms a central divider.
