The Cottages
At Lag Kilmichael, our primary goal is to provide our guests with high quality, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation.
Each cottage is provided with new furniture, beds, domestic appliances and linens specifically chosen for that accommodation. We have tried to keep in mind that guest's tastes vary and so our own input when selecting furnishings has been focussed on the overall quality of the fixtures and fittings.
We take our responsibility to maintain the buildings and their contents very seriously, so everything in your cottage should work properly and all equipment will be complete and safe for you to use.
Our cottages are presented with a good range of kitchen appliances and all necessary linen for the number of registered guests is also provided. Fuel for the fires is always available and dedicated outside seating areas are provided for each cottage. All guests also have free access to the 3 acres of communal grounds at Lag Kilmichael, where more outside seating areas and picnic tables are to be found.
We provide free WiFi broadband internet access for our guests so if you need to bring some work with you, or if you just can't live without email or Facebook, you will be able to get on-line from your cottage.
Rose Cottage
Commanding an elevated position at the entrance to Lag Kilmichael, Rose Cottage has far-reaching views up and down Carradale Glen. The large south-facing picture windows in the kitchen, lounge and master bedroom particularly, make the most of the pastoral scenery regardless of the season. Rose Cottage’s outside seating area is on the South side of the building and this sheltered position forms a superb sun-trap in the summer. The large garden is fully fenced and will effectively contain all but the smallest and most inquisitive dogs.
Lavender Cottage
Lavender Cottage occupies a secluded and private spot bordered by trees and a stream at the front and backing onto a lawn at the rear. A small, fenced garden area separates the cottage from a deep ravine with a stream running along its bottom.
Outside seating is positioned to make the most of the view through the trees and up into the hills beyond.
