Lag Kilmichael has been accepting Self Catering guests since the early 1990’s.

The current owners, Paula and Peter Davie relocated here in the Autumn of 2003 after falling for the charms of this idyllic spot during a brief visit earlier that year.

Self-Catering accommodation has always been an important business area for Kintyre, many homes here have a ”wee house” on their land. This would allow the owners to move out of their home temporarily and let the main house to visitors.

Our approach at Lag Kilmichael is a little different; we have two cottages that were specifically created for our guests to use. One of the cottages is a converted byre and the other is a large bungalow that served as the Farmhouse from the 1950’s to the 1970’s.

Both cottages are individual in style but furnished and equipped to a very high standard.
